Led by the Environment & Energy Division and the Toronto Office of Partnerships, the Clean Toronto Together program is returning for 2014.
The City encourages residents to get together with friends, family, coworkers and classmates to clean a park, laneway or any other space that needs your help. Working together we can eliminate litter, stop graffiti vandalism, remove illegal postering, and keep Toronto clean and green.
Events will be scheduled throughout Earth Week (April 22- 27). You can get involved on:
- Friday April 25 – Corporate & School Clean-up Day
- Saturday April 26 & Sunday April 27 – Community Clean-up Days
The on-line registration system is now open for this year’s campaign. Residents, groups or associations, businesses, organizations, and institutions can visit www.toronto.ca/cleantoronto and register for the Corporate Clean-up Day or the Community Clean-up Days. Schools may also be interested in the School Clean-up Day.
This campaign is actively supported by Municipal Licensing & Standards; Parks, Forestry & Recreation; Solid Waste Management; Strategic Communications and Transportation Services and sponsored by GLAD, CP24, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, NewsTalk 1010, Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Toronto Park People and Earth Day Canada.
