Open Doors Toronto

Doors Open Toronto, one of the city’s most popular annual events, provides free access to buildings of architectural, historic, social and cultural significance to a diverse, all-ages audience.  Launched in May 2000 by the City of Toronto, this award-winning event has attracted over 2 million visitors.

In honour of this summer’s TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, this year’s theme – Sports, Recreation and Leisure – features private and public recreational sites ranging from aquatic centres to athletics stadiums.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, May 23rd and 24th, 2015.   Our local facilities participating in the event include:

  • Community Head Injury Resource Services- CHIRS at 62 Finch Ave. W
  • Edithvale Community Centre at 131 Finch Ave. W
  • Gibson House Museum at 5172 Yonge St.
  • John McKenzie House at 34 Parkview Ave.
