The Office Team

Markus O’Brien Fehr, Executive Assistant

Handling office supervision, political matters and communications Markus joined the office after a 15 year career managing a children’s summer program with Camp Manitou Canada.  He has volunteered extensively with the Ontario Camps Association and locally served as president of the Willowdale Federal Liberal association and a director of his condominium board.  He holds a B.A. in history from McMaster University.

Catherine LeBlanc-Miller, Special Assistant

Overseeing development applications, infrastructure projects, school and condominium board relations, prior to joining our office Catherine spent 8 years as a trustee with the TCDSB including 4 years as chair.

Brian Liberty, Special Assistant

Organizing community events and parks development Brian came to our office after time spent as a community worker with St. Christopher House and the Evergreen Brickworks.  His past volunteer experience includes eight years with Scouts Canada and five seasons as a coordinator at National Music Camp of Canada.  He is a graduate of both the Community Worker and Building Renovations Technician programs at George Brown College.

Kate Ivanchenko, Constituency Assistant

As part of our constituency response team, Kate oversees transportation, water and infrastructure issues.  Kate has a B.Soc.Sci. in Political Science from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s of Public Administration from Carleton University.  She is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.

Sarah Barber, Constituency Assistant

Sarah works with our office administration and communications programs. She focuses on Municipal Licensing & Standards and Urban Forestry issues with residents among others. Sarah has a diploma in Legal Office Administration from Seneca College, and has past experience working with Public Interest, Strategy and Communications.
