For Willowdale residents worried about how to afford food, or how to get safe access to food, there are local services designed to help.

The best source for up-to-date information on food program availability is 211toronto.ca. Food listings are updated daily as information is received from providers. Residents can call 2-1-1 directly, or view the map of food bank locations: https://covid19.211central.ca/gta-food-banks/

Free Food Hamper Delivery for Seniors

  • Call: 1-833-204-9952
  • The City is working with the Red Cross and other partners to provide food hamper delivery to seniors and others in need who are self-isolating and unable to leave their homes to access food.
  • This is an essential, free service.

SPRINT Senior Care (New Shopping Program in partnership with Sobeys)

You do not have to be a SPRINT client to register for this service: 416-481-0669 ext. 1225

  • This service costs a fee for individual meals or for a group of meals, either hot or frozen.
  • All orders will be securely processed through the SPRINT Shopping Program using a credit card.
