Climate Change & Park Funding Event

Have you heard of the grants of up to $7,500 that will be available for resident-led climate action projects in the 31 Neighbourhood Improvement Areas*?

Park People invites you on Wednesday, July 17th at North York Memorial Community Hall (Burgundy Room) to learn more about Neighbourhood Climate Action Grants (NCAG), the impact of climate change on our communities, and to brainstorm some park climate action ideas to apply for the NCAGS.

Tamara Grossutti Project Lead – Outreach & Engagement for the Environment & Energy Division at the City of Toronto will be joining the event to talk about the NCAG. Brianna Aspinall, Park People staff and Carbon Conversations TO funder will be sharing background on climate change.

Dinner will be provided during the workshop. Please arrive at between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. to grab dinner and register, the workshop will start at 6:00 p.m. sharp.

*Please note that eligible groups need to have 3 or more residents of a Neighbourhood Improvement Area who make up the group.
