Leonardo da Vinci’s range of scientific investigations and his innovative artworks such as the Mona LisaThe Last Supper, and the recently discovered Salvator Mundi are deeply connected to one another.

In this talk, University of Toronto Lecturer Bernice Iarocci considers how Leonardo’s scientific and artistic works together express his acute understanding of nature as well as his assertion that human creativity is one of nature’s most powerful forces.
