Uptown International Children’s Festival

Uptown International Children’s Festival

The Uptown International Children’s Festival, presented by TO Live, is an action-packed, fun-filled weekend where children of all ages and their families can experience live theatrical performances, participate in sing-alongs, explore worlds of wonder, and create new and lasting memories.

The heart of the Uptown International Children’s Festival lies in the Toronto Centre for the Arts, where four internationally-acclaimed shows bring wonder and exploration into our spaces. From a re-mastering of Shakespeare’s classic tale, Macbeth, to a musical performance from Grammy-Award winning artist Lisa Loeb, the festival has performances for all ages that the whole family can enjoy.  Tickets are available here.

FREE outdoor activities, performances and interactive events will also be happening at Mel Lastman Square.  The Square will come all weekend with food, family entertainment, and exciting interactive activities. Learn to fly at SoCirC’s Trapeze Workshop, visit Reptilia to see your favourite cold-blooded animals, go on an adventure with Legoland, and so much more. PLUS enjoy circus, music, and dance performances from local artists right in the square.

For more information, visit the festival website.
